Thanks John for years and years of helping us. I am (we are) forever grateful. Back around 2003 I called you from Jupiter, FL for overdrive advice. You gave me the courage to open it up (while on the car) and check it out. Turns out that the check valve ball bearing was missing. The local transmission shop missed that when I had the O/D transmission examined before installing it. It made a journey to Nevada for a year and then back to Florida before I had the time and place to try to get the O/D working. The MG and I are now back in my home town of Lansing and live a few blocks from Brooks Imports.
I hope you continue to pop in here and I think a fitting avatar photo for you would be your hat. Just your hat.
Thanks, Pete
