I recently changed my stock electric fans out to a new 10 inch single puller unit. Since i had to pull the radiator to mount the new fan, i installed a new radiator while i was at it. the old one was a bit banged up, but had no leaks and worked fine. it is available for free to anyone who could use it (local pick up only, no shipping). it will just sit around my garage until i die, so it might as well go to someone who could use it. it has a few bent fins, but it works. if interested send me a message, i am in Franklin Square Long Island. As i said, you would have to come and get it.

Hi Joe. I could use another radiator for my 80 B and I may be on LI next weekend visiting family,

What town are you in? Thanks.

Okay, I'll get back to you when I know if I am going down. I'll be in the Medford area if I do.

Out of curiosity, are you willing to ship it if I pay shipping and a packaging?

i dont have any boxes that big around anymore. the shipping box my new one came in from Victoria British was ripped up a bit, so i chucked it out, along with the Styrofoam peanuts. i would rather not get involved with packing and shipping.

I understand completely. Looking like I am going down mid-Saturday and coming back mid-Sunday. As I said, I'll be in Medford so I think I can take the vehicle over to your neck of the woods pending traffic and all. I take the ferry down so I don't usually even go across your part of the island.

Lets stay in touch and I will get back to you when I know more/better. I'm thinking Sunday morning will be my best bet to avoid traffic on those cross island highways, what do you think?

Hi Joe. I am going down to LI this weekend. I'll send you a PM to coordinate a time for pickup. Thanks again.

Well, Jeff and company just left after picking up the radiator. I am glad it is going to an MG guy instead of the local scrap yard, and hence off to china and come back to us as an inferior piece of chinese tool crap that self-destructs on the first use. i got some cheap "Made in china" brass wire wheels for my angle grinder at a swap meet recently. the brass wires flew off the wheel as soon as i touched grinder to metal. what crap! I know i should have known better. If we ever had to rely on china to supply us tools to build things we need for a war, we are history...

Joe, thanks again for the radiator! As I mentioned, mine has been weeping for years now so I know it is only a matter of time until I need to change it.. maybe I'll get ahead of the game this time!

Your car looks great too, thanks for popping the hood and having a chat with me about it!

Yeah, i'm glad you made it. Just put in your trashcan full of water and run your air hose into it with about 15 lbs of air and the inlets covered just to test it. i moved it around in the driveway and the yard a few times since i pulled it, so i hope the tubes are still intact, and there is still that place where a stone impacted it. it never leaked in my car, but you never know. might be good to have a radiator shop boil it out. i ran it for over 22 years.

In all honesty, I probably won't change mine out until it has really failed (more than just the little weep). By then, if this one leaks I'll just end up ordering one so either way I'll be down.
