I've got a '67B with wire wheels. What are the pitfalls I should be wary of when removing and replacing the front rotors? I'm concerned about the wheel bearings, etc. Any help is appreciated.

No big deal. Don't loose the shims that set your end play(bearing load) for the bearing. Getting the cotterpin out is the hardest part of the job on wire wheels. Other than that it's like any other hub job.
Tom- I'm getting ready to pull my rotors to get them turned and put on new brakes. In searching this site I came across you and this message. Guide me through it if you would. I have a '71 B with wire wheels. Wheel if off, calipers and brakes are off, pin is removed. First question (kind of stupid but) what size socket do I need (I tried a 1 1/16 socket but it was too small. After the nut come off what should I expect? After the hub is off, I remove the four bolts and take the rotor to be turn? Thanks for any and all help. I am new to this site but try and read it at least every other day - I love the information and the passion discussed about MG's.
