MGB: FS: MGB 1968-80 Right Front Fender with Chrome Trim

Good evening all,
I am parting out a recently purchased cb '71 MGB roadster. First to go are the front fenders.
This listing is for the right front (passenger) fender, and there is a companion listing
for the left front fender.
As you can see from the attached photos, this fender is absolutely clean, with no top
rust, no bends, kinks or body damage. The photos of the reverse side indicate the
lower fender panel was PROFESSIONALLY replaced some years ago, and even the
lower panel screw attachment holes are perfect. I am leaving the side moulding trim
and headlite mounting assembly (all perfectly useable without excuse) as a holiday
gift to the buyer. The price is $300.00 plus least expensive shipping (Greyhound
freight about $70-80) depending how far you live from long island, ny, zip 11791.

Those look like decent fenders. How bad was the rest of the car? Any Pics of it?

They appear to be GT fenders.., Is that correct..

Agreed - Roadster fender.

That's why I was asking about the condition of the whole car. Unless there was a lot of hidden rust or a totaled ass end, that is a good looking fender.

yup, it's a roadster fender.
i've made the necessary change in the listing copy to clearly indicate it as such.

Vince- this car was a halted resto project when the owner realized the extent of
unseen rust in the floor, the trunk and inside rocker sills. as you surmised, the
rest of the car, including all outer sheet metal panels, are surprisingly rust-free.
the front fenders and doors are fine, except for a few pinholes in the left fender
lower section. i bought the car for the doors for my GT (same skins), the engine
and tranny for my MGA project, and the fenders and miscellaneous parts to resell.
What parts do you need, i'm offering the 5mi radius neighbor discount today.
