I've got an overdrive trans that I pulled out of a 69 MGB/GT. Came to find out it was full of water and mud. It cleaned up pretty good, I've got it taken apart, but I found out the aluminum casing that has the small rectangular cover (and the black label cover) attached to it is badly corroded to the point of not being salvageable. The mainshaft and other gearsets, shafts are ok. Just starting to take apart the planetary section when I stopped. If anyone needs anything, let me know, I can get you pictures if need be. I have very little cost involved and not looking to make a profit. Just didn't want to give it back to the junkyard who will likely scrap it, if someone here was in need of something.
