I've recently fitted a new wiring harness to my 71 mgb - all has gone amazingly well except one residual problem. As soon as I reconnect my batteries (and with no turn of the ignition keys) my (new) fuel pump kicks in and starts pumping fuel through.

I'm sure its a simple wiring problem - can anyone help?

You need to back track and make sure you have everything pluged in right. Something is supplying current and the white wire that goes to the fuel pump comes directly from the ign. sw. You are just going to have to chase it down.Start at the wire comeing from the fuel pump and take it one connection at a time.
