There as been alot of discussion lately about OD, T9, T5, Nissan 5-speeds. I thought some of you might be interested.
If you don't have some of the numbers handy to play around the rear end is 3.909 to 1. There is a calculator for your wheel size diameter. My 175/70/14 come out to 23.65 diameter.
Final ratio on OD .82 to 1
Final on 81-83 Nissan .745 to 1
Final in 4th 1 to 1
Just a MPH comparison my original 4-speed at 3,500 in 4th was 63, with OD 76.8, with late 280ZX in 5th 84.5.
