I usually fit mine dry and torque it properly, 15# I think.
Edit: also if it has a shiney side, that goes toward the manifold as it's hotter.

OK no sealer. The first gasket after valve job had alum on one side i had it on the head side. Intake developed a leak new one doesnt have alum on one side. This one same on both sides
