Fantastic run to the coast yesterday! 200+ miles round trip. Ray in his green roadster and Peg and I in the GT met Tim and Brenda with their great looking '77 roadster at Fort Ross State Park and ran thru fog and sun up the coast stopping at 'The Tides' of Hitchcocks's "The Birds" fame and lunch at Stinson Beach. Ray, Peg and I left 'em there to continue on to Sausalito and points south while we took the long way home over Mt. Tamalpais. Some great scenery above the fog. Heres a pic of a stop on Tomales Bay near Pt Arena.

It was a great time. Thanks again to Ray, Jim and Peggy. We are in San Simeon now and will be heading down to Beverly Hills for a few days. We were too late for reservations to tour the Hearst Castle but we do have reservations to tour the Hearst Tool Shed! LOL!
Looks like a great day...you Napa, Ca guys get all good parts of like -- wine, weather, women, etc...
But we here down south have good winters, great beaches, fried okra and wait for it....wait for it....

Great pictures Jim, looks like it was a good day's outing!!
We made it home yesterday. After four days in Beverly Hills and three days in San Diego we made it back to Phoenix yesterday. 2,843 miles in two weeks in our 77 MGB!
Great accomplishment. I gotta do one of those long distance runs! The naysayers who think our little cars aren't up to the long haul should take note!>:D<
