"The Republican bill, which has no chance of passage, would extend insurance coverage to about 3 million people by 2019, and would leave about 52 million people uninsured, the budget office said, meaning the proportion of non-elderly Americans with coverage would remain about the same as now, at roughly 83 percent."

Reason #57 why republicans lost power

I am not sure this bill has been seen by anyone yet. It is interesting how the article has the facts wrong and the numbers wrong. But my assumption is that the plan would not be aimed at insuring the 15 million who don't want to be insured. It would reduce costs of insurance. I did not read anything about the two main issues of pre existing conditions or portability. I they have not read it either.

But at least it does confirm that the Democrat plan is nothing about reducing costs, they do not care about costs.

Because the numbers they are using are just the industry numbers used by all the interested parties but their numbers are different. It is not relevant to the article regardless. The article is only about not insuring the uninsured everything else is unimportant. The article uses it's own numbers to describe what they think it says becasue they don't have a CBO report or the plan. They are talking to someone in the CBO.
