Gil, Ill be at the Arlington, Tuesday thru Saturday morning. See you there! Maybe you can find someone to caravan with.

If it was held over the weekend might consider, can't give up the vacation time...

I am going!! I will be leaving Sunday via I-40 with a probable overnite around Jackson, Tn. Then on to Hot Springs Monday. (Wife won't let me drive though.)

Dick Lunney's River tour didn't work out for me but they will pass through your area on next thursday. Dick told me it was an "abbreviated tour" due to a small group.

I've never yet been to a GT. I plan to leave the Milwaukee area Sunday very early in the morning, drive about 45 min to meet up with 4 other cars and start out on the 1st leg. This should take us to Sikeston, MO where we are reserved in a Super-8. Monday it's on to Hot Springs and the Arlington. I have decided to be "in the shade" & put the top up, zip out the rear window, and wear earplugs for the drive down. Once there, down comes the top and out comes the new #100 sunblock. I just activated a cheap tracphone, my 1st cell, and will load in the other folk's #s just in case that's needed sometime. Kick the tires & light the fires! See y'all in Hot Springs. Dave

David, the quickest drive is obviously by freeway from Sikeston to Hot Springs even thought there is not a real good way, even by freeway. I can give you an alternate route, however, if you are interested. It will be somewhat longer, but better scenery.

Be there early Wednesday morning in time for the show, thru Saturday.. Will be in an MG but not the "A".... Plan to do some driving in the Ozarks...

Gary, Since the "group" hasn't yet mapped out the 2nd day's route, I will take you up on your generous offer of an alternate to freeways. We are already taking some non-interstate thru Illinois. I don't know how much in a hurry we'll be, but I'll put it before them. Dave

Thanks for the route Gary....it might be neat comin' in on some back roads for
"final approach". I should be able to find you there, as, with the sour economy, they only expect about 200 MGAs.

We'll be there Mon thru Wed. No car this time though. Maybe next year.
