GT'S+baby seat--Make Sense?

Come May, I'll have a new addition. With my current daily driver, a 93 Ford Ranger, I'll not have much room for the new addition when mommy rides with us. And mommy says she's not riding in the bed, imagine that!

So, I've just about convinced her that we need to add another horse to the stable and get a GT...but one that's ready to drive, and will be driveable for a couple years.

I hope to do this when my current project is done...this spring, God willing.

My real question is, how realistic is a baby seat in a GT? I know there is a back seat, but for non-human sized passengers, so my thought is perfect baby/toddler size.

We'll still have her 4 door mini-urban assault vehicle for trips, but woun'd the fumes and hum of the B be much more fun for a cross town trip to the parts store?

Maybe someone's got an answer, but i don't see how a modern baby seat would fit in the "backseat" of a bgt. Mine is uncomfortable for small dogs.

If you remove the lower cushion and fasten an anchor behind the rear seat back to the rear floor, I think its totally possible, probably situate the baby seat in the center, just because I think it would be easier to place the child through the front seats, rather then trying move the passenger seat forward to get the child in and out. Also the rear seats don't have seatbelts, so you would have to figure a way to anchor the chair to the floor.

Man, I thought I had her there...will have to break the news to the wife.

I guess I'll try for the Expedition...look out, and get those big orange flags on the LBC's...I won't even see you guess.
