guess I had a better day than tim russert

I was thinking what a lousy day I'd had until I read the earlier post about Tim Russert.
I worked late Wed & Thursday and played hookey today, thought I would get a bunch of stuff done. Got a call from a friend who is moving today and needed help with selling his car. He brought it over today and a buyer is supposed to show up tomorrow. It is a piece of junk Camry and I hope I don't get stuck with it, he's already left the state.

Then I got a call from the guy at the machine shop. He has the Pantera heads to do some work on and he thinks I probably need to bring him the motor too.

My wife came home from work and decided she was going to cut the grass instead of waiting for the yard guy to do it Monday. She was out by the street and a car went past her and distracted her. BOOM hit the brick column mailbox with the mower and knocked it over. Picking up the debris I managed to cut my finger on a piece of sharp broken brick. Wheelbarrowing the crap to the backyard, I managed to walk through some poison Ivy.

Thought today was really bad until I read the post about Tim Russert, it coulda been worse.

I guess most of us had a better day than Russert did. He died much too young. The older I get the more I think about it.
