No, not the Messerschmidt KR200 - that's too easy. What's the car just visible in the upper left? I took this photo in Scotland in 1981. Been wondering off and on every since what the blue car was. Thanks!

Austin (or Morris) Marina.
Looks like a late 60's American Rambler to me :) :)
Morris Marina, for sure. The hard part is: which was the worse car?
It conerns me that I knew it.
Yep defo a Marina, death trap on wheels, I had a 1800 TC Fast Back just a touch on the loud peddle and you would get axle tramp.
I'd have to agree that it's a Morris Marina.

Marina.
Awful POS.
Took one in for service about thirty seven years ago.
First trip down the street and the axle tramp under honest normal driving was so bad that the clutch fork jumped off of its pivot.
Had to R&R the gear box to fix it on my nickle.
Never got within fifty feet of another one again.

BMC assembled a lot of mundane British cars, as well as MG's here in Australia. The local BMC production engineers were shocked when they first were given a Marina to assess. The dashboard for one, was assembled out of several pieces; the squeaks and rattles from this area alone were built in from the start!
Loved the Marina I owned. Never had any problem with axle tramp, but then it was set up for Rallying.
The only issue it ever gave me was a throttle that stuck full open going into a 70 degree plus corner on a dirt road rally in the early hours of one morning. Lets just say if we weren't fully awake before, we were afterwards.
Guess I was wrong huh :(
