Greetings All.
My uncle has an 80 MGB with an interesting electrical problem. The turn signals don't work period, since he turned on his hazards a few weeks ago. His hazards work, but not when the headlights are on. They work with the parking lights on, but the speed and rhythm of the flashing changes. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a either a flasher failure or a hazard switch with typical dirty/corroded contacts. I would replace the flasher unit first (under the glove box). They're cheap.
If that doesn't do it, try working the hazard switch back and forth repeatedly. If no success, take it out and pry it apart. The brass contacts inside can be brushed clean without too much hassle.

BEFORE replacing the flasher unit, flip the hazard switch back and forth several times "vigorously" - that usually fixes it. If that doesn't fix it, then replace the flasher unit it - there are two. One for the hazards, one for the turn signals.
BUT - since the problem occurred when he used the hazard switch, I think its the switch.
