MGB: Health care plan

I note that the Democrats are pressing forward on a house vote. The bill is now 1900 pages of jibberish and can not be understood by anyone. I also note that the cost has now risen by over $300 billion dollars to $1.2 trillion of new costs. They have put every part back in the bill that they had taken out trying to get votes. Now they just don't care. This plan will be a disaster for all.

A reasonable person may conclude it is about winning, and Big Government's attempt at ultimate power and control of The People, at any cost, as a final gasp.

Such an attempt is like a giant anaconda, quietly circling its prey, and slowly, steadily, surrounding it on every escape route, until the coil of power closes, squeezing the life and any dissent from that contained within its grasp.

We must be vigilant that these four items, for starters, don't fall prey to those in power:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

I agree with you Chuck.. but it seems more and more, and it is both sides want total control. Certainly it is a scary time..


Amendment IV... take a look at airports, what about the check points we see popping up in this country... ???

Militia? Good luck, the govt will send in its agents and stop that before it festers...

It may be X that saves us....but I don't think anyone has the stones to press the issue...
