Does anyone know the height of a replacement dogleg panel for a rear quarter? I'm doing a sill replacement and need to know how much can be removed. Is there a height difference between heritage and aftermarket? Thanks Mike

You really do not want to cut the rear fender until you have the patch panel in hand. Trust me on this!!

These guys make the only dog leg that fits perfectly
http://www.kas-kilmartin.com.au/ They are painted black with a small blue and white KAS sticker.
There are two other varieties; red painted ones that fit very very badly (made in Asia) and black painted ones that fit merely poorly. The latter are made by real steel.
Like real steel, KAS also sell to Moss so there is some confusion, and question, at the moment, as to whether the black painted Moss panels do or don't fit exactly. The Answer is that the ones with the KAS sticker do!
You could try asking Moss for a KAS panel, but I think you would do better to contact them direct. They ship world wide.
You'll need to call in hours eastern Australian time. They are not a big operation. Country town, reliable though.

Frank is right, you really should have the new panel first so you don't cut out too much. On the other hand, if you only take out just enough to allow you access to the rocker panel you will have enough metal left for final fitting.
