My GT has run a little warm since I got it, it wasn't too bad but it definitely heated up in traffic.
A week or so ago I got round to looking at the spark plugs, DPO had fitted Champion N8 plugs. I fitted a nice new set of RN9Y plugs and all of a sudden the engine runs better and cooler!
I really wish I could work out how my DPOs mind worked.

Don't we all wish we could figure them out :). Good job hopefully you didn't spend too long doing the search.

It didn't!
The BMW bike that is in the shop came in from having been swooned over by a "guru". It had a long reach Bosch plug on one side and a short reach NGK in the other cylinder.
The Bing carbs looked like they hadn't been touched in literally 40 years.
Duh!

You really wouldn't want to understand their mind. Your own is better suited for both getting the job done right and unravelling their nonsense.
