Hi all. I need to tackle an HS 4 adjustment and noted that the adjusting nut is in an awkward position without much room. I was unable to finger turn it. I probably need the SU wrench. Any suggestions or tips?
thanks.

Thumb and forefinger, facing the front of the car, reach back and under the carbs with your right hand. Otherwise there's a short 5/8" wrench you can buy, but you still have to get your hand down there.
Thanks Jeff. I'll try the short 5/8. I should have noted there in my MGA with a B motor and the HS4 twins. Very tight.
Its nice to have the proper tool on the key chain of the car....IMHO....
I used to keep both sizes (Jag is bigger)....lost the key chain....
I have a 15mm and a 17mm stubby wrench in my boot bag for SU adjustments. They are just the right length to get in under the carb.
Ken
