I am trying to watch some videos on Youtube and I am getting this message:

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."

Now.. I have the latest Flash player and I re-installed the newest Java software but I am still getting this message. I tried it in Firefox and in Explorer and get the same message.
If, for some reason, Java is turned off, How do I get my Java on? I have never had this problem before with Youtube.

Paul, are you doing this from your home or office? If you're in the office, it's possible your company has a policy that turns off javascript in your browser (though I'm surprised firefox would honor that policy).

Try looking in your tools / options / content dialog in Firefox and see if 'use javascript' is checked or unchecked. If it's unchecked, check it. If it's checked --- I'm OUT.

I am at home Kelly and both the Java boxes are checked. Very odd indeed. Thanks for your assistance though.

Did you look in manager add-ons under tools or is that a MS thing...
