I Have seen the Supercharger!

And it is sweeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttt!

I went out to visit my parts guy (Classic Restorations) and while he was there we started talking about the green car (Mallard green actually) and the supercharger.

HE HADN'T EVEN TAKEN IT OUT OF THE BOX! (man I would have ripped through that the minute it arrived).

So, while I was there we opened the box. Man, it's a piece of work! The manifold has a raised octagon on it (ala the old manifolds from the T series). It's a single SU, manual choke operation. It comes complete with a new alternator, water pump, multi-grove pulleys. It even had all the belts and a set of spark plugs. About the only thing it didn't have was a choke cable.

Another noticable feature: it's so small!!

I plan to make weekly visits to see how the progress is coming along. I'll be happy to take pictures while I'm out there if anyone is interested.

(hmm, what could I do with a supercharger, GT, overdrive, and an A/C??)

Yep. It was George. We're building a house about 2 miles away and I was in the area checking out the progress. Thought I'd drop by to see what was up. Glad I did! Now I spend my nights thinking "supercharger....supercharger....supercharger"
