If this car is as described, this is prolly a good example of a good, " starter B". It may very well be worth the money.
I don't know for sure, what do you guys think?

As usual, I have no interest other than trying to keep an idea as to prices of these ole sleds.

Have fun

Maybe a little high. I'd say maybe $3,000, but depends on part of the country and rust.

Bryan,
Its in Texas, and I never even saw rust til I moved to Virginia.
The cars from this area are what you guys in the north call 'Rust free'
Lets assume it has no real rust issues.
What do you think??

Have fun

Reasonable for a rust free car.

Not a bad deal.

I paid $4000 for my MG in July 2008 before the height of the financial crisis. It needed more than it's cost in parts to bring it to original and nice, but it was the nicest MG within a reasonable distance, for the least amount of money.

No doubt that I overpaid but it was still the best we could do.

If rust free or close, that may not be too bad.

I paid $4200 last July for my 78. Not a spot of rust and new interior and decent drive train and changed color repaint . The rest? Well I started out rebuilding the ZS and 7 months later engine bay is stripped, suspension is on my bench, all hydraulics are being replaced, and engine and trans will be out for reseal/ od conversion. Basically I paid for the lack of rust decent repaint and new interior. hard to find non crusty cars in New England. Pics will be coming soon so I can be graded (degraded?).

if it is a straight, rust free body, and the rest of it runs, its a pretty good price. It's a heck of alot better a starting point financially than heavy panel replacement, body work, respay etc.

From what I can see, it seems well worth it. Wish it were here..
