Lots of things taste better than butter to me, but butter always beats margarine.

I have to agree with Rod...I do my best to avoid clogging my internal plumbing.

OTOH, for cooking both butter and olive oil are top notch, heavy creme in soups has no equal, absolutely nothing imparts the flavor of fryig in bacon drippings, lard is for pie crusts, butter is for pastry....

Nothing comes close to making it with anything other than....
