MGB: Ignition switch

I was wondering if any one had an extra ignition switch with steering lock for a 78 mgb. Also will a switch with out a steering lock fit on my car. My key is suck in the ignition and I just need the mechcanical portion. and it does have to be origional.

have you tried taking it to a locksmith, and have them remove the key?
