The wiring diagram for a '67 Mk1 MGB shows the solenoid (red/white) wire on the single lucar terminal 1, the white circuit on the double lucar terminal 2, and the brown circuit on the double lucar terminal 3. My ignition switch is laid out differently: it shows a single lucar terminal 3 (presumably for the solenoid wiring), and two double lucar terminals 1 and 2. Anyone know which of those is brown and which is white? Does it even matter?

Double white one going to the coil the other to the lead on the distributor contact breaker.
Brown wire hot lead going to the switch for the fuse box, Or if the P.O. rigged something else up..?
Red/white wire goes to the starter solenoid of if there was a starter relay in 67'? the wire goes to the relay.
The signal terminal should be for the Hot wire (brown)
