Hi all,
I just replaced the bulbs in the instruments on my 62 roadster (only the instruments - not the high beam, ignition or indicators) because a couple were blown and the remaining two were very dim. My problem is that after the replacement none of them work and neither does the ignition light. The replacements were normal screw in bulbs. Any ideas?

Could you have pulled a ground connector loose while fiddling around in there?

Bruno - these were brighter replacement bulbs from LBC - 171-0008WDM x 6 - 8 WATT TUNGSTEN INSTRUMENT BULB CVB - 12V
Rick - I suppose it's possible, but I don't think I did. I just reached up and pulled out the bulb holders, unscrewed the old bulbs, screwed in the new ones and pressed the holders back into place.
The indicator tell-tales do work but none of the others including the un-replaced ignition lamp
