..is there a doctor in the house...

...I am constantly being bombarded by dumbfoundedness. The other day a old friend stopped by, he wondered where all the smoke had gone from my shop. I told him I quit,but for reasons other than..."good health".. politics and economics..pure and simple.
The economics is taxes, the politics are taxes and property rights. Our state wants to make it illegal to smoke in private workplaces. He is a small biz owner and says he does not allow smoking at his biz. Fine and dandy says I, thats your right. My rights are to smoke in my own shop if smoking is legal. He says its a health issue and should be banned everywhere.I had another attack of dumbfoundedness. I pulled a gun and shot him then and there....just joking. I said what if the state said its a legal product and you can't stop them smoking at your biz what would you do. He said it his biz and they cant tell him what to do....You see where I am going with this story. My request for a doctor is I must be crazy to think I have individual rights and that the Nanny state is corrupt and that people dont understand that they are legitimizing this corruption.
It's all to common a thought process in America today. I hate laws and corruption of our constitution based on cultural emotions do jour.

...this is why I am considering voting for Obama....
