But, maybe If you were there. Sue loves a ride In the Gt. You gotta love a gal that want's to go for a ride.

Well Sunday was her day, She needed a new shovel for her garden work. So off to the Hardware store we go.

On the way into the store we meet Zach in the Parking lot, he's My best friends son. Doing his Doctorate In English. What does that have to do with the story? Nothin really, but I just love it when a kid works hard to get what he wants.

Okay, we buy the shovel, and almost a garden bench..... Outside, we see Zach with the hood up on his dads pickup. Oh no, Now I have to get my Hands dirty, right. No, I lucked out. All he wanted was a ride home.

Ahh Zach, this is what we drove, as I pointed to the Gt. Oh,sh*t Zach say's. Sue, being the kind of person that always wants to help, say's, That's Okay, I'll get in the back seat. I just snickered.

Now Just to let you know, Sue Is 5'7", She weighs about 20 pounds more than any woman thinks she should weigh....... She slides the seat forward, maybe three inches. Crawls in, then realizes that there is no way in heck, she is going to be able to sit up, Where's the seat belt, Then she Lies down. What can I say.

Over my right shoulder I see the thing about Sue, I like best.

Now that is How, I finally got "Sue" In the Back seat.

Chris

P.S. My left rear tire rubs with three people in the GT.

Nice story, Chris. I hope it wasn't too far to drive Zach home?

Nice story Chris

Not the same scenario, however, a 3 person event in a 2 person car!!!
I once went to Niagara Falls, with my sister and her ex, in a brand new Corvette...thankfuly, my sister and I are only "as they say 5' nothing"...:) no back seats there either!!! (long drive to be rolled up in a ball)
I did get to drive it on the way back...that was a thrill...he showed me how to use cruise control, then promptly fell asleep...(talk about trust I was in my 20's)
Anyway, on the way back hitting Toronto, the traffic was building and tried to take off the cruise...it didnt work!! (okay didnt depress brake long enough) and started to panic as car surged forward...Help I cried...and my sister calmly said try it again...phew...it worked...and the owner slept through it!!!!!
I will never forget that experience and never trusted/liked cruise control til now and only if road conditions are good.
