After a couple of months of assembly, I lit the fire in the engine in my project roadster tonight. I let it run long enough to see 75 pounds of oil pressure, the charge light went out and the gas gauge works. A few wiring issues to sort out and it will be on the road after a rest of at least fifteen years. The engine was rebuilt, as was the transmission, then the project was abandoned. It has a new tourist trophy exhaust, and that sounds great.

Way to go! I had hope to post a similar victory announcement today after a seven month rebuild effort. But seemingly clogged fuel filter stymied me (for now).
