My heart goes out to those who dare to make their living at sea. Particularly, when I watch them take a pounding as the bow slices through wave after wave. At 300 feet above a sea state seven there's so much turbulence that I'm sometimes driven to distraction. Their lot must be pure hell.

I hope the crew of that laker never knew what happened as she submarined. It would have been sheer terror if they did.
