Had kind of forgotten her.. A guy here at work said he thought she was better looking and such then Marilyn Monroe..
Hard to say but I did find this picture that I liked...

Jayne had this thing for a while where everything she liked was "Davoon", a word she coined in place of divine.

I actually prefer Marilyn. She had more of a "girl next door" quality....not as over-the-top as Jayne. Actually, I'd prefer Betty Page over both!! Gotta love Tennesse girls.... :) :)

They both were great, but there was also Joy Harmon better known as Lucille.

Ummm, yes, Betty Page, I'd vote for her too. I liked Marilyn better than Jayne, but Betty better than either from that period. Actually, reaching back about 10 yrs, Lauren Bacall was steamier than all of these to me. JMO.

Don't forget Rita Hayworth, and also Jill St. John

OUCH:hot:

Jayne would never have gotten where she was without MM. MM was an act unto herself. Both bimbos fell to the plies of Hollywierd and studio directors. Sad but true. I admire the new bimette crowd much more as they have much more control while still controlling and being controlled with their "natural endowments"....

Sophia Loren,
Gina Lollabrigada
Bridget Bardot
Bette Davis in her day
The silent gals escape my mind now but
Sara Bernhardt was the vamp of stage if ever there was....

P Hilton and her crew are spoiled and rotten brats...IMHO...

I love blondes and Jayne was a beauty! But I like brunettes too! And Salma is my favorite!

As I scroll down this thread, I'm trying to decide who to eliminate for my own personal vote........I'm trying to decide....who to.............who to eliminate..............Just as I thought!!!!

I ran into her in a pet store in Greensboro back in the stone age. I was MUCH TOO YOUNG. She like many, but not all, "glamour girls" was supposed to have been much more intelligent than her public persona would lead you to believe.

My vote goes to Ms. Monroe. Mansfield always looked to me like a caricature of a voluptuous woman. Monroe, on the other hand, looked ALMOST real.

I think she is DEAD. The fatal motor accident that killed Mansfield and spread the rumors of her decapitation had been the subject of many plots and scenes.
