For once we agree, Don. You'd think a guy his age would do the mature thing, wouldn't you? Sad.

~sigh~

Wolf Blitzer....Now there is a man without an agenda, lol

Wow...So McCain should have kneeled down and kissed the Messiah's ring too? You really must have contempt for the readers here by posting such drivel.

We can all see past your bias....

I wouldn't shake that slimy hand either, unless it was with the intent of breaking four knuckles.

Marc, you've developed this creepy little habit of making stuff up.

Don - Welcome back. I was afraid the nasty, name-calling republican we've all come to love so much had disappeared.

For both of you: Let's turn this around. Let's say McCain walks up to Obama and reaches out to shake hands, and Obama pulls his hand back, refuses to shake and just turns aside. And it was caught on video. What would your reaction be?

I am not so much afraid to shake his hand although my big fear would be that his other hand would instaneously be trying to pick my pocket.... :) Isn't that what he plans to do anyway?

RSS, he was introducing his wife to Obama and there were people asking questions and talking. He has been shaking hands for 30 years he meant no disrespect. I did not listen to the sound the first time and then I heard Wolf Blitzer. I agree with Marc. Drivel

Marc, I see you and Don are afraid to answer the question about your reaction if the tables had been turned.

Hmmmm....

This couldn't be..... well..... hypocrisy, now could it?

Can't conclusively say it was a snub, but it sure does look like it. Petty of McCain - but then it's equally petty for Demoncrat cheerleaders to make a big thing about it, which I am sure they will.

I wasn't referring to Rick. Making a single post about it on an off-topic forum on a website about a British car marque is not, in my book, "making a big thing about it". I was referring to the Obama campaign and liberal media outlets. It's probably all over the Daily Kos...

Weird, at the beginning of the debate they walked up to each other and shook hands. I immediately thought that it must suck to be a politician and have to shake the hands of people you don't respect. It looks like a missed signal, not a snub. Maybe it would have been painful for McCain to reach at the angle the hand was offered. Remember, he was hanged by the upper portions of his arms with them tied behind his back until his shoulders were dislocated after he refused to accept freedom at the cost of leaving his comrades behind. I think I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Does anyone have that video of Bill Clinton going to kiss Hillary and I think she hugs Obama instead? FUNNY!

Rick, they probably would've voted to acquit OJ after he was caught on tape, too....

Holy Christ, this is getting ridiculous, They were very cordial prior to the debate, the picture in the hometown newspaper shows the pre-debate handshake and the youtube clip shows Mac walk up to Obama and pat him on the back. To say there was some kind of "disrespect" is just bullshit.

Remember that Rick is the same guy that said Mitch McConnell hates America because he was not wearing a lapel pin. So ridiculous, I like to keep bringing it up.

I watched the clip three times. It's really fast, and I can easily give McCain a pass on this one. These people are under a lot of pressure, and under a microscope.

Once again, I think RSS's point is that if the tables were turned, lots of people would be making just as big a deal out of it, but this partisan bickering is getting really old.

The debate last night had little real substance or meaning for me. It was like a commercial for two competing products, neither of which I want to buy, but they are the only ones on the market, and we have to chose one.

The omission of the handshake becomes the Crackerjack box with the worthless toy missing. That's how important it is to me.

I watched the clip also, I know that if Obama walked across the stage, patted Mac on the back, I wouldn't be STUPID enough to make any kind of deal about it

Rick, you're right, no class. Maybe the "Albino Chipmunk " is afraid to get a little color on him.
