This is actually my 2000th post - and I thought I'd celebrate by thanking all of you wonderful people for all your help during the past several years. My car is in much better shape than it was when I joined in 2006 - and my attitude toward it has improved because of your encouragement (and even admonishment at times :) )

Thank you all VERY MUCH! I look forward to many more posts and many more years with this "virtual family"!

Scott, are you moving back to the area, or just visiting? Whichever the case, let me know and we'll get together!

John, just coming up for a visit! Looks like it will be late April or mid-May after I graduate High School. I'm looking forward to visit the classic car exhibit showing at the High Museum starting this month on the 20th! It promises to be a great show and is an even better excuse to come up. ...might be a great time to take the 'B for a drive up "north" too!(and if I needed a mechanic once up there to give me some help...I'd know just the guy ;) )

Scott, do you know about the Atlanta British Motorcar Day in Rome at Berry College on May 15th? Usually about 500 cars, with a strong contingent of MGBs. Here's a link to the site:

It's a nice drive up Hwy 278 to Rome -about 2 hours.

Wow! No, I had no idea! That looks like it's promising to be an incredible show. I will have to look at my schedule(and talk to the parents, naturally) but if this year is anything like the last, I have my Senior Prom on the 16th and if that's the case, I won't be able to attend. ...priorities, priorities ;)

I love Berry though! I have been up there for two weeks over the past two summers staying on campus and flying(and soloing) gliders at Richard B. Russell airport. Beautiful campus...will be great for a car show. I'll keep you posted on my possible attendance. Thanks! :D

John:

If it takes me 2000 posts to get my B looking as good as yours, I better get going.....

Glad to hear you will be at Berry. I'm planning on being there as well with my 80B this time. If things go well, I'll have my new interior done. The Roadster Factory sent a shipping confirmation this week and hopefully when I get home today I'll have new trim panels and seat covers waiting to return my B to it's original champagne/beige interior.

Congratulations,

Rand
