This forum is great !!!!!!!!!
Yesterday traveling from So Cal-440 mile trip- to see the grand kids, I had to get the MG jumped 4 times. The alt went out and when I had to stop I needed jump it to get it going. It was only able to keep the car running if the RPM was over 2500 lots of fun here. So when I made it to Yuba city my son in law and i went to kragen to pick up a new alt, got it and went back to install it BUT it wasn't the right one so back to Kragen we went. Told them that the back hook up lugs were not right and so we started to just open boxes and looking at the lug setup. BUT then I remembered that I had Bil Guzmans phone # on my cell and called him to get the right alt. He told me that it was from an older setup and within a few minutes i was out the door with the correct part.
THANKS BILL and to others maybe having info like this or numbers of people that do know will make a simple problem from becoming a night mare.
and to the WIZ the cruise control worked great
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Bob,
I agree!!!! The collective wisdom and knowledge on the forum is great, these guys ROCK! So, I was noticing, I don't think you have made a $ contribution to the Forum, this might be a good time, huh?! I have personally saved lots of $, lots of time, and made some $ (from the Trader section) to more than pay for a Gold membership.
Brad
Yuba City?!
I lived there for over 3 1/2 years back in the late 70s while stationed at Beale AFB.

"Interesting" little town, ain't it? :D
I liked it. Hot in the summer with low humidity, mild winters. Good central location with only an hour or two drive to a lot of great places.
Did you ever read the Road to Yuba City?
Carl, I'd forgotten all about the Juan Corona case. Just Googled the book.... It's been out of print for decades, but is available for a price. Sounds like a good read.
I love that part of CA. Lots of great roads up there.
Will update my membership when I get home,.
Summer time took a trip home via yosemite, driving thru the old gold towns really great and the 14 hrs home wasn't to bad but a bit long for the wife
