The Spanish group ETA have decided to halt all military action from yesterday....and since the IRA called a halt too a good number of years ago we now have peace within the borders of the EU

Still wondering about that...a clear sign of armistice. If the IRA stopped fighting who does the ETA engage? Peace in Europe can not be achieved without some Franco armistace...imho.

all previously armed groups in europe are now committed to purely peaceful political means to try to achieve their aims and objectives
