I seem to remember someone mentioning one of the suppliers has a kit for rebuilding leaf springs - It included the straps that wrap around them and also the stuff that goes in between the leaves. Does that sound familiar to anyone? I can't find anything like that on Moss or Vicky Brit. I'm going to sand blast my springs, give them a coat of paint or POR-15 and put them back together, and I don't want to reuse more hardware than I need to.

I've considered coating springs with POR15 on other cars but have always been warned to use only grease, as any coating will eventually wear and potentially cause binding. No personal experience with such, just passing that along.
I rebuilt the leaf springs for my 64B, dismantled them painted the leafs individually and reassembled them using a Spring liner purchased from "Speedway Motors". I did have to reuse the same clips I removed, could not find a source for new ones. Do not Know the out come have not installed them on the car, but they sure look good
I should mention that my previous comment did not include the use of liners. It was only in reference to mating leafs directly together.
Frank - was this the stuff you used?

I rebuilt my springs with the speedway liner. Word to the wise, one 20ft roll isn't enough to do both springs. Lucky they are local to me so I just stopped by and picked up some more. I found that, in my case, most of the steel clips that hold the springs together broke when I took them apart. The little tabs that bend over break off. I reassembled my springs one clip at a time, holding the clip with a c-clamp while I tack welded it together. If you do this you have to be quick to avoid melting the spring liner too bad! Mine worked out great. I didn't want to screw around with new springs when the reviews are so bad, and I didn't really want to raise the ride height.

Times sure change - They're now $1.79 each and shipping is a minimum of $25. so that makes $50 jsut for the clips
