two lengths of screws for the shifter ring: short and long. The 73 uses 3 long and 1 short, earlier use 4 short.
Anyone have the lengths of these screws?

#31 above but I can't tell you as I don't believe mine are o/e (besides I've got a 3synchro ring mated to a 4synchro box). A quick email to Moss tech should elicit the info. I did a site search using the part number but it's unique to the shifter ring
And while you're at it, I put short ones at 12 and 3 o'clock and long at 6 and 9 o'clock. I had trouble getting the long one to go in at 3 o'clock so figured that was a a short one. But, when I happened to see a bit of a gouge on the gearbox housing at 12 o'clock I guessed maybe a short one should go there as well since it appeared a long one may have made that gouge.

Ryan, thanks.
And FWIW, fastener length is measured by the length of the threads alone, not the head. So it looks like about 1-1/8 (not 1-1/4) and 3/4. That helps. I'm going to use locally sourced chromed fasteners with my black powder-coated ring.
On my '74 GT the thread lengths are: Long 1 1/8", Short 5/8". I have three long and the one short which is at 12 o'clock.
