Does anyone have pictures of the kick panels from their ZB? I'm planning on making them to replace my missing originals, but I'm not sure how the factory fitted them around the package tray supports. Were they one piece or was there and upper and lower panel with a slot for the tray support?

ALSO...

I'm looking for a pic of the glove box door support that the hinges mount to. Mine is a replacement piece of pine added in somewhere along the car's long, hard life. I pan to repair the structure to original specs before relaminating.

Thank you!!!

Jeff,
I'll get the pictures for you if you still need them. Still looking for the kick panel...

Thanks! I'm just looking for a simple pic of one of the kick panels - either side - that displays the fasteners used or shows the general outline. I'm assuming there's just a slot cut in the middle of the panel for the parcel shelf bracket and its a one-piece unit. I'd guess it uses the same hidden clips as the door panels and that the edges are just wrapped around the back of the panel, although the edge toward the door could be left unfinished and the vinyl tucked under the furflex.
Any help at all is appreciated!

Jeff,
Re the kick panels, the simplest method is to have them in two pieces. From memory this is the way they were originally, with the lower panel retained by a bronze finish screw with a cup washer.
If you try to make it in one piece, you will destroy the upper section (at the end of the parcel shelf) when fitting the shelf. Fit the upper section after fitting the shelf.
