MGB: MG Midget

I have a question on MG serial numbers.
I am an auctioneer by trade and in the process of conducting a delinquent storage unit auction, I have uncovered a complete MG Midget and an assortment of parts.
Can someone on this forum help me identify this complete car by it's serial number? The serial #is GAN6UH198715G.
I believe it is a 74 or 75 midget 1500 but I can't confirm that with my current resources. Here is a photo just after we opened the door. I believe this car has been unattended since about 1996.

Mark, I'm not sure on the numbers, but you're definitely dealing with a post '74 rubber bumper car. Any details on the auction? I'm kind of local!

According to Moss that serial number would indicate that it is a 1977 model year that began with gan6uh188001g.

Certainly depends on rust, mielage, overall condition, but I would estimate anywhere from $1,000 - $2,000. Does it run?

Serial# G= Abingdon assembly plant
A= engine series(used on 1500 models also)
N= 2 seater
6=
U= USA & Canada Models
H=
98715G= Should have been made between Aug. 76 & Aug. 1977.

My take on the numbers -- similar to above.
