I'm there every year, as are my wife's baked goods. All proceeds go to VMG so buy lots of food! :)

Someone help me. I'm less than enthused about packing up a truck load of gooey parts next Saturday, then getting out of bed at 4 in the morning to drive down to the swap meet.
Tell me I'm going to meet some lovely people down there. Better yet, tell me I'll meet some lovely people who want to buy things off me, so I can afford my habit of taking in every orphan MG project the sidles my way.
Steve S's presence is no longer the draw it once was, because he's belittled my 1977 MGB. His lovely wife, however does tend to offset that. And her famous cakes are definitely worth the price of admission.
Does anybody need any specific used bits hauled down there? I've got a lot of used stuff, and I'd love to share the wealth.

LOL! I forgot you had a '77 B, Kelvin. But, it doesn't still have rubber bumpers, does it? And your name isn't Lloyd either so you're safe! :bouncing:
Unfortunately my wife has a family obligation so she will be sending the baked good with me rather than coming down herself. Tell you what... you come down there and I will buy you a piece of coffee cake. I might even buy something from you. :D
I'll be teaming up with mbarjbar next Sunday. Can't wait for December when I need the parts I sell and have to buy them new at 4 times the price. Its a catch 22:spinning:
You guys are doing this a week early! I'll be in Palmdale for thanksgiving, and I have stashed at the in-laws' place a '70 GT with OD, as well as a trailer-full of MGB parts. Guess I'll have to drag them north and try to peddle them up here. Don't know of any NorCal LBC swap meets. Anyone?
Ron, Thanksgiving weekend will be our local group's Turkey Run. It will be in the Malibu area in case you're interested. Lots of twisty canyon roads.
Kelvin, he can't belittle your '77 RB, even though it is white as described. Yours is excluded from being lame since it has a SUPERCHARGER.
Jeff. The 1970 has the supercharger. The 1977 is getting a Rover 3.5L. Don't worry, I lose track of them too.

Steve ,can u send some of those cookies out to NZ please!!!
Hey now, I never called anyone's car lame. I only suggested that we delete all threads with reference to white 1977 MGBs owned by people named Lloyd. :D
Charles, you pay for shipping and I'll send them. :)
Might be a bit stale by the time they reach you though...
If I want a space to sell there do I need to reserve it or do I just show up early on Sunday?
-Lance
I believe they appreciate when people pre-register so they know how many are coming, but you can pay at the gate as well from what I've been told.
Ummf. All these years and I didn't know you could reserve a selling spot. I thought it was first come first served. Which is why I'm having to get up at 4 am.
OHHH the humanity.
kelvin.
I shouldn't have said reserve a spot, I meant pre-register. I've edited my post.
