This actually an MG topic. I am trying to fing the 60's song about dropping the top in the MG and cruising along the beach. I thought it was Munggo Jerry/In The Summertime, but that was not it. Any ideas?

two, actually. one by a brit rocker who's accent is so thick i can't even understand most of his lyric--I can't easily understand many heavy Southern US accents as well.

the other by the Monkees

I think it was more of an oddball hit with an oblique reference to dropping the top on an MG than an entire song.

Certainly....it's a Memphis group! :) The inspiration for their name came from another Memphis band at the time - the Triumphs!
She wants a car with a cupholder armrest.
She wants a car that will get her there.
She's changing her name from "Kitty" to "Karen."
She's trading her MG for a white Chrysler Lebaron.
Ok, so that was Cake in the 2001, but it still makes me cringe. A Lebaron?
