MGB: MG World Going to the dustbin

Whether or not you happen to read this particular magazine I think it is important to try and help Phil Raby, the Publisher to try and save the magazine that many people depend on for past and current MG news. I think if you have the time you should consider sending an email to them stating your displeasure at the corporate office wishing to kill the magazine. I realize the magazine is heavily slanted towards the UK MGs including the newer models but I think MG needs all the help we can get especially over there where the future of MGR lies. I also think we should do this to help our MG bretheren over there to keep thier magazine going.

MG World just went monthly! &, I've read every issue...where did you see that they were killing it? Did I miss something?

Follow the link in the first message. It goes to the MGF list on the UK BBS. Phil Raby confirms (editor) it and asks for help via emails.

Hmmmmmmm....wonder why they switched to monthly & then decided to kill it? Well, there goes another magazine - & we just went through this with British Car magazine...wonder if MG Enthusiast magazine is next?

My message is sent. Unless our marque is displayed, driven, talked about, it will turn into naught but vague memories and rust.

I agree with Chris. There are so many things being let go by the board that it would be a shame to have one of 'our' magazines follow suit.

After all how many decent ones are there dedicated to MGs?

If ALL MG owners & even those who don't (but wish they did) sent a email saying how much they enjoy the magazine & how sad it would be to have it scrapped it would make a great difference & possibly even sway the powers that be.

Public opinion has accomplished far greater things than this.
