I've been playing with a new scanner and just pulled a great image from a March 1991 issue of Supercar & Classics with an early MGB buyers guide. I don't know the source (Brown & Gammons, MGOC, etc.) but it sure is cool. It was just slightly too big for my scanner but I got most of it. Here you go:

That is cool, looks like the pics you sometimes get of model cars !!
Could you scan the whole image in sections and then mayve someone could splice them all together and re-post the whole thing. I've got a pretty good photo editor at work and could give it a shot.
Kevin
My company did something just like that for Hyundai a few years ago for the then new Genesis model.
Some folks on here probably have one that looks just about like that...only not as neatly organized. :D

I can relate to that!
But where is the bag of nuts, bolts, studs etc that you can't remember where they go? ;)
Seriously, that is cool, I would like a copy of full scan if possible. I took my car down that far and put it back together and yes, mine was not that neat.
We had someone here with a similar pic in his sig a while back. His B was red I think. Really liked it, too
A Looong time ago, this is how the Lotus 7 "kit" was advertised.<G>
SO THAT'S where THAT goes!
I want a copy too!
Looks like you could scan it in two sections there is a vsrtical gap along the exhaust that would be an easy stitch.
Awesome...very cool. I, too, would like to see the "Whole Monty"
Hey Ed!
Shouldn't you be Honeymooning instaed of messing with car pics?
Mac-
Just to share a little story with you.
Back in the day, when Lotus 7's were advertised as real 'kit' cars to avoid some sort of tax from Inland Revenue (British IRS), Morgan Super Sports were sold the same way. I couldn't decide between the two, and went to see a Lotus 7 already assembled which was road licensed and being sold by a local fellow.
After repeatedly scaring myself during a 15 minute test drive, I crossed the Lotus off my list. I was well on my way to ordering the Super Sports (loved that little extra bump coming out of the louvered hood), when my mom noticed what I was doing and wisely told me there was no way I would ever finish the Super Sport project if I bought it. Moms are always right, and she was so happy when I came home with my first MGTD because it actually ran.
Regards, Lee B.
Only one question, where is the wound up rubber band thingy:)-D
I would love it if you could scan it in 2 parts and email me the files.
Thank you so much in advance.

FWIW if I can get a good scan of it I can print it out on paper at about 4-5 feet top to bottom. Would make good wall paper for a den or garage.
Anyone willing to offset cost and postage?
Could print it on vinyl for more rugged locations and more money.
Could even make it with UV inks on outdoor banner material... for a lot more money ha ha ha
I would be into this and be willing to pay for it.
Let me know if you work out some details
John
Michael, let us know approximate pricing... I would be interested.
I'd love to have the photo sections. I have photo stitching software that I always used on my rendering. They had to be scanned in four and five sections.
