The new Cameron Diaz movie, "The Box", opens today. Part of the film was shot near me, over at NASA Langley Research Center.
During those scenes, an MGB was used, but I'm not sure how often. I do suspect it is more than a just blip though.
That car was later sold on Craigs List, and it's upcoming movie role touted.
Don't know a thing about the movie though, just interesting.

I won't see the MGB on the silver screen, since doing so would otherwise require me to watch a movie that has Cameron Diaz in it. I'll trust the gents on this forum to provide a description of the car's role in the film.
I dunno, she's easy enough on the eyes... movie looks like a dud, though.
Pretty sure that every time they use "the box", an MG, somewhere in the world experiences an electrical problem. From what I understand, "the box" was made from Lucas licensed products and not the real thing. I could be wrong about this.
Holly cow William, I grew up in Tidewater! My dad was an aerospace eng(rocket scientist) at NASA Langley. My last few years from '69-'75 in Poquoson. Previous to that, Newport News and Hampton. I miss my home far away. I still remember those ominous giant Spheres of who knows what gas near my dads office. The large wind tunnel, the Red gantry they tested something for the moon missions?

James, what's wrong with Cameron Diaz? You make her seem like Hanoi Jane...
