Went and looked and some mg parts and was thinking of pickng up a spare engine but it was an 18GA - too early for me. The mgb engine turned over freely, and I did not try to turn over the mgc engine.

These parts are not mine, but PM me and I'll relay you the persons contact info. They are located in Long Beach.
