Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has dealt with mgocspares.com recently. I've submitted an order for a fuel line and cannot get them to respond to an e-mail requesting a quote on the cost of shipping. Two attempts have gone unanswered.

What I know now is it is very difficult to call them as my cell package doesn't include international dialing.

They did e-mail acknowledgement of the order but nothing on when it might be shipped or cost of s/h; this coupled with the fact that online ordering isn't done on a secure website and I'm somewhat leary of what's happening...

Thanks in advance

I've ordered from MGOC spares online several times, the checkout is done on a secure web site and whenever I've had a question it's been answered within 24 hours.

...which means they can still call you - you just can't call them. Not helpful, I know. Sorry.

Which is why I have Vonage - calls to England - FREE!

Actually, I have also had good luck with MGOC answering e-mails. My sister lives in the next village, so I can always order up a bit o' bovver if they don't cooperate! ;)

I've ordered from MGOC twice--both times I've tried (and failed) to have them respond by e-mail. IMO, you;ll need to find a way to call, I'm afraid.

I think that means "order up a bit of bother" .... i.e. bug them.

I send in inquiry on Monday, and 2 hours later had a reply.

I have ordered twice from them. Goods always arrived fast and they always answered my emails within the next working day. Wich email address do you use? You should try an emailaddress with a co.uk extension: sales@mgocspares.co.uk

Aren't they on "Holiday" the month of August? I think the country is in August.

Good news,
They (MGOC) have this morning responded and indicated parts are on the way!

Thanks to all who attempted to assuage my fears...

I'll be motoring about with a correct SU fuel pump before we know it!

O'bovver is when a pissed off English, Scottish or, God save us, an Irish lassie comes into your store and demands action immediately. The "bit of" phrase is sarcasm. The reality is that the scene isn't going to be pretty. LOL

Right Eric?

Speaking from experience Jack?

Absolutely correct - a "bit o'bovver" it what the lads, or lasses, might create when they are not happy! It does require the wearing of specialized equipment, usually referred to as "bovver boots"! (In my day, "Doc Martins" were the bovver boot of choice. They have, however, become somewhat PC in the last decade - whatever will the skineads do?)

Bovver boots just ain't what they used to be, I used to wear good old steel toe cap bovver boots, the last Doc Martins collection I saw consisted of shoes and sandals - for about three times what I used to pay for my boots!
