The weather and work schedules haven’t been kind to me- if Simon was at work the weather was great, if he was off we have had lousy weather so no work done on me so far this month. I do know that the Weber carby arrived and so did the taillight lenses to replace the broken ones, I even know that he has ordered a numberplate bracket for me so I shouldn’t complain too much.

Well of all things. Simon was off work today and the weather was good and did he work on me. NO!! He worked on the house and yard- he put a animal door in for this dog they got (probably expect me to take it for rides later too), cleaned up the lawn (currently a half bear weed patch) and added steps to the back patio .Gees, what does a girl have to do to get any attention?? On top of that he got part of his tax return and spent it on a ham radio.

Well not so good weather but Simon did make an effort. He used the grinder on my floor to see how bad the rust was on the drivers side- yes a new floor pan is needed and he removed most of the rusty exhaust system but here the weather (snow and hail) and a dying grinder worked against him. Funny that but Simon had more smoke coming from the grinder than Jo Ann had coming out of the barrel of leaves she was burning.. The only piece of exhaust left in me is the manifold and first piece of pipe.
The other bit of good news for the day is I heard Simon tell Jo Ann that the rest of his tax refund will pay Chris for the fender that went on to me and to buy some of the tools (e.g. compressor and tools) he will need.
