MGB: Moss Motors Fall Fest 2008 - Who's going?

Any members attending the 2008 Moss Motors Fall Fest, Saturday, Sept. 13?

This year's event will take place at the Duke Island Park, Bridgewater Twp. New Jersey

I can't make it make it but I would sure like to! I grew up in nearby Branchberg and had some great times in that park. In those days Branchberg was just a bunch of farms connected to a few developments. We didn't have a police force, but we kids did give the Park Police a few headaches since that was the place to hangout and party! I did drive my TR4 through that park many times cruising. I thought they were way cooler than Bs. :) I have since come to my senses and realize the superiority of the B. ( Had to say that or I'd get a ton of flak from you know who!)

Oh, they moved it from Dover, eh? Good deal, it's a lot closer for me. I may make it, assuming my 'honey do' list is somewhat cut down....

Considering your living in Santa Barbara, one of the nicest places on the planet, I wouldn't worry too much about the "good old days" back here in N.J. Enjoy where you are, your lucky to be there!:)
I lived in Santa Barbara for a brief 6 months about 22 years ago and regret ever leaving. :(

Your right, I am very fortunate! Its very hard to leave here because its almost impossible to get back in! I moved here in 78 and lived with a friend going to UCSB. He moved back East years ago so he could afford a house. He regrets it and hopes to come back when he retires. He might have to move in with me again with the cost of housing here. :( I do miss the pizza , Jersey tomatoes, Taylor Ham, giant mosquitoes, humidity, and of course the rivalry between New York and NJ. :) Have a great time and look me up if you come for a visit.
