I have a pinhole leak on the top of the radiator of my 64 B. I have used Barrs about 6 months ago; now its leaking again. Just wondering if its worth repairing, or is it advisable to purchase a new radiator.

For peace of mind, I would have recored or replace. Then again, I work for a radiator company.
I'm cheap, so I would solder it first if the leak was on the top tank (I also enjoy soldering). You can always go whole hog later.
How old is the radiator? If it is original, replace it for another 36 years of blissful motoring.
You've got it pretty giummed up now with the Barr's Leak so rodding out the core is mandatory. Since the tanks have to come off to do that, you are on the road to spending some money. Look at the cost of correct repairs vs a new one, should be very little delta, and make your decision.
Of course, if you like that incessant fiddling that a bunch of us enjoy, solder it up so you can solder the next up four weeks from now. After a year of this, you'll be darn good at soldering pin holes.
When it comes to cooling systems, I always repair properly. There is no faster way to loose an engine than having a cooling system that doesn't work efficiently. I've seen blocks cracked because somebody couldn't keep antifreeze in it, I've seen more than enough engines cooked. When it comes to a leaking radiator or waterpump I replace immediatly. I usually prefer to get it recored at a local shop, because it's usually the same price and you are dealing with somebody personally, also it keeps somebody working locally. However you choose to do it, replace it and check your hoses before summer.
If you are going to spend the $200 or so for the recore or replace, now is the best time to replace those hoses. The little extra you'll spend to do them too is worth the peace of mind.
i just had a new heater core and heater valve done . i replaced the heater core due to its age ( 22 years) , and also lack of heat... the heat now coming from the heater vents is fantastic... <smile>..
there are a few places on the internet that have sales and specials on items... www.propermg.com just got done with a sale, if my memory serves me correct, but i do not know wether it covers your year or not...
as soon as i get back from a business trip, i am replacing my radiator, just for piece of mine.. i figure that after 22 years, it is also clogged in some areas, and it also shows signs of corrosion/leaks from previous owners...
whatever you do decide to do... i wish you luck..
