I posted a request last month per this and thought I had one. Thanks Russell for helping me out.
As I worked to recover the part, seperating it from the surrounding sheet metal, it became clear that the it was going to be a lot of work repairing it and it would still bear the marks of my repairs.
With that said.. I'm back in the market for one that has not been in a wreck and is not rusted to the point it needs repair panels. My car is a 61 so the right side inner fender has an indent in it. I was told that the indent was designed to accommidate the carborators on the twin cam.. anyway I'm trying to replace like for like.
I am willing to pay up to $300 for it... much more than that and I'll be buying one from Moss or Victoria.
Along that line... the fenders mount to nuts that are secured on the backside of the inner fender/engine compartment.
These get rusted or damaged.
Does anyone sell those nut/sheetmetal as a unit?
Thanks again..

Can you give a pic of the part you're looking for? I have many spare sheet metal parts that came with the car. I would be willing to part with one if I have two.
Cheers,
Marco

Ok, $300.00 plus shipping if I have the proper sheet metal part.
Just to clarify before i take out the Makita cutoff tool, is the "right side" the passenger side?
Assuming the affirmative, see the attachment.
Send me a PM to complete the deal.
Regards, Lee.
ps-the nose is not rusted, that's the color of a thin coat of rustoleum primer I sprayed on
after i had everything very gently media blasted.
